Trey Edwards has been promoting and producing events and festivals since his first show featuring Green Day in 1992. Since then, he has become well-known in the Austin and national music community by producing and promoting thousands of acts and world-class events for clients, including the South Padre Island Visitors & Convention Bureau, Weirdo’s, C3 Presents, Insomniac, Disco Donnie Presents, Euphoria Music Festival, SFX, Live Nation, The Netherlands, Ron Paul, ROT Rally, SXSW and Formula 1. He has developed, promoted and self-produced large music festivals, such as Texas Rockfest, Texas ShamRock Fest, The Heart of Texas Red White and Blues Festival, The South Padre Island Seafood & Music Festival & RedFish Tournament, Texas Brew-B-Que, Raging River Festival and Bass Invasion.
In 2010, Trey founded Secession Entertainment, specializing in comprehensive, high-end event production services, including LED video walls, video mapping and design, intelligent lighting design, state-of-the-art sound reinforcement, staging, sponsorship sales and brand activation.
Up to date, he has personally negotiated and sold high-level sponsorships and managed activation for clients including Sony, Disney, X Games, Harley Davidson, Gibson Guitars, Activision Guitar Hero, Madison House, Buffalo Technology, Peavey, High End Systems, Slacker Media, US Foods, Tito’s Vodka, Budweiser, Lone Star Beer, Pepsi, Red Bull, Jägermeister and more. Trey brings over two decades of promotion and production experience and holds a BBA in Management from Texas State University.
